There are signs that Jehovah is calling you out of the occult. Here is a list of the signs:

Your spells seems start to return upon you or they don't work as well as they used to.
Your occult friends start to avoid you.
In divination, people are coming less frequently for readings or they are not satisfied with your readings.
Every where you go, people are avoiding you, like as if you have the plague or something.
Your face or continence starts to change and look different.
You are crying or increasing sad much of the time.
You experience disappointment or rejection much of the time.
Things seems to start falling apart for you in every area of your life.
Your sex life is decreasing or you find nothing but uncommitted partners.
Your sex life is boring, so you decide to switch sides, if you haven't already; but find that just as stupid as the uncommitted partners you chose.
Your sex life is attacking bizarre type of partners, doing things you wouldn't normally had done before; and you secretly are sick of all this.
You find that you are being used more than using.
You find your conscious starting to talk to you more.
You find that there is constant attacks coming from somewhere.
You find yourself increasingly angry at everything, for no apparent reason.
You find that you try and try, but nothing seems to work.
The more money you make, the more money you need, and the less you have.
Your children have lots of problems, mainly discipline problems, foul mouth, and are leaning toward a dangerous, destructive behavior.
You find yourself in circumstances that often times you can not control.
You have more people attacking you with witchcraft than ever before.
You are lonely, no one or no thing seems to satisfy you.
The emptiness in your belly causes you to eat more, purge more, or ache more.
You question your own existence.
You wonder if its worth all that you are going through.
You never feel accepted by others, except when you are giving to them.
You hate yourself.
You can never satisfy yourself; even if you get what you want, you are still not satisfied.
Your eyes start to fail with blurred vision, double vision, or a need for glasses is apparent.
You seem to be out of control so therefore you see to control your own environment and the people within it with witchcraft prayers, overpowering speech, or you use anger to control your environment.
Happiness is temporary; joy is never known.
You have competition constantly, seems like either you are or someone else is always jealous of you or you of others. Makes you sick to death and having to go through this again.
You don't trust anyone, because everyone is a potential enemy.
You feel and are experiencing isolation.
You hear God talking to you, through other people, mainly Christians.
You get angry when you hear a Christian tell you the truth, but you feel convicted, but the devil tells you are being attacked as if Christians are into witchcraft behavior. Another lie from the devil.
You know the right thing, but avoid doing it.
You want to do better, but are afraid that others will reject you if you get out of the occult and come into Christianity.
You are afraid of everything, especially looking in the mirror and seeing exactly what you look like, as God sees you.
You are afraid to be wrong, and have a need to always be right, having the last word on everything. And then knowing down deep you are wrong, not right, and should shut up, but can't.
If you have experienced at least five on this list, then you are being called out of the occult and need recovery from it.

Thanks,

For the Excellent Post!!

I know that God is calling many people out of the dispair of the Occult and into the Newness of a Relationship with Himself.

It is always nice to meet Christians that have come through the fires of life and they usually become the most dedicated Christians.

Luke 7:39-48

Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner. And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on. There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged. And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

Thanks Again.

God Bless You,

David

 Sorry to butt in..

Ummmmm......OK I'm a heathen but don't have those problems--In fact since I've become an animistic heathen, my life has become much more fulfilling..Others that I talk to, both pagan and heathen seem to have LEFT christianuity for the reasons you've descibed here (well--similar ones anyway--obviously it's unlikely that Yahweh or Satan told em anything) and seem much happier as a result..

Satan only talks to christians and jews and moslems, ya see..(satanist are just disillusioned christians)

See--non christians generally don't BELIEVE in those entities so I think maybe you've been mislead???

I'd really like to see what your definition of "occult" is....Magic and spells?? I just met a christian who does spells on another forum, is that occult too, or maybe that's not even what you mean?? Do some christian practice "magic"..I, personally see prayer and magic to be pretty much the same thing, although I seldom do either as my life is just fine without em..

OK again I appologize for jumping in..I would entertain an invitation to leave if you feel my comments are inappropriate to this forum..

Thanks for your time..

Peace and Love

Hi,

Im not sure I really understood your point.

But it sounds like you assume that you know what everyone is feeling, thinking and doing, including God, man, angels and Satan and that with all this vast knowledge of yours you are living a wonderful, fulfilled, happy, content life.

Or maybe you are just in total denial about the condition of the world and the circumstances in your life??

All the Best to you,

David

Well, actually, heathenism and paganism are the product of Christianity, so by announcing that you are against God, you announce that God exists, right? By attempting to "serve" satan, you actually screw yourself. I dunno, but that doesn't sound like that great of an idea.
I personally like to think of Pascal's Argument. If there is no God, believeing in Him is no harm. If there isn't, not believeing in him would cause dire consequences...

Actually paganism and other nature religions far predate Christianty. Most pagans believe in neither "God" nor "Satan" but rather have a completely different pantheon. I've think you've been misled about what exactly constitutes paganism.
And Dave, you chastise Terry for presuming to know what god, satan, people etc. are thinking, yet the list of "signs that god is telling you to leave the occult" (which you praised) does exactly the same thing.

Hi Syberduh,

Christianity is almost as old as creation itself. It is as old as the need to remedy sin. Throughout the ages people worshiped God looking forward to the coming redeemer Jesus. Now that Jesus came 2,000 years ago we are spending 2,000 years enjoying His accomplishment of dieing for our sins on the cross and the accomplishment of His resurrection for our everlasting life.

By reading the Bible we can know exactly what Gods will is in our lives and that is that God desires for Everyone to Acknowledge Him and to have a relationship with Him a relationship founded in Truth and with a commitment.

1 Timothy 2:3-6 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the Truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

The Bible is clearly written with Gods knowledge in other words the Bible is written with more knowledge than man possesses. Knowledge about the future about the past knowledge about God, people, heaven, hell, angels, Satan, you practically name it God has it covered in the Bible.

The choice is yours follow the Bible and find God or follow your friends wisdom or lack thereof and suffer the consequences.

All the Best,

David

Christianity is as old as creation itself in the sense that the incarnate Jesus Christ's earthly family is traced all the way back to Adam and Eve through the Davidic line. Since the pre-incarnate Son of God or "The Word" is the Creator of all that is and was of course present and the agent of creation, Christianity therefore is as old as creation itself since we worship the one true God even though the Christian "religion" in name is only 2000 years old. Only in that sense would paganism or any other religion predate Christianity, which doesn't matter anyway in that context. . On the other hand, paganism or any false religion (or lack thereof) "claiming" to be older than Judeo Christianity would only be traceable at a maximum as far back as the Tower of Babel which none have been to date. Anything in the way of religious ideas or practices previous to that is pre-flood and did not survive since the line of Cain was destroyed. They therefore cannot predate Judeo Christianity. . But to be fair I must point out there is one thing which is almost as old as Judeo Christianity and that is rebellion against God which all other "religions" (or lack thereof) are. . . . Of course to anyone who has no use for the Bible its all a moot point they can't or won't believe it as factual historically or otherwise anyway.

Gentlemen, you can use all the circular reasoning in the world but it doesn't make your stance any more defensible.

And worshipping nature or anything else instead of Jesus Christ, cannot save your soul from hell my friend. My logic was only meant to show why Christianity is as old as Creation and not merely 2000 years old, it was not presented as a defense of anything. As I said, if you don't believe in the scripture in the first place then I'm sure the logic would seem circular.

Hi Eldersage,

I really enjoyed your post that Christianity is as old as creation. Let's develop it and put it in a new post and I'll promote it. I know that some attempt to claim that Christianity is a Johnny come lately but nothing could be further from the truth.

I was separating creation from the fall in that Christianity (Christ, Messiah, Jesus) came to redeem us back from sin. But you are absolutely correct in that Christianity is also about a Relationship with God and in that sense Christianity is also as old as the world is.

God Bless You,

David

Thank you and glad you liked it. I like your idea and am agreeable. I purposely left out actual verse or other references to back up my point to keep the post short and for other reasons I won't go into here, but in another more lengthy thread it would be a very interesting study if properly referenced and many might find useful.
